Becoming a Christian is the best—and the worst—thing that has ever happened to Sarah Hollenbeck.

Up to now, Sarah Hollenbeck made her very comfortable living as a well-known, bestselling author of steamy novels that would leave the members of her new church blushing. Now she's trying to reconcile her past with the future she's chosen. She's still under contract with her publisher and on the hook with her enormous fan base for the kind of book she's not sure she can write anymore. She's discovering that the church might frown on her tithing on royalties from a "scandalous" book. And the fact that she's falling in love with her pastor… well let's just say that doesn't make things any easier.

With a powerful voice, penetrating insight, and plenty of humor, novelist Bethany Turner explodes onto the scene with a witty debut that isn't afraid to deal with the thorny realizes of living the Christian life.

As I may have said before, "modern-day romance" novels really aren't my thing. I'm not exactly sure why. Maybe it's because I live in this reality and prefer to travel to a different one. Books are my way of time-traveling. That's one theory at least. I prefer to think I'm more of a quality tester than just picky. So when I say that I loved a book in this genre you can be sure that I mean it!

Bethany Turner's debut novel is a perfect mixture of humor and sincerity, chemistry and tension, light-heartedness and thoughtfulness. I think the true purpose of a book is fulfilled when you turn the last page contemplating and inspired about situations and circumstances in your own life. Now that I've finished, I'm regretting that I didn't write down everything that I wanted to give further thought to. I don't want to forget anything!

Keep up the excellent writing Bethany! I can't wait for your next book.

P.S. Hallmark would you please make this book into a movie?!!
