My Release:
Season of Glory was an epic finale to Lisa Tawn Bergren's Remnants series. I absolutely love her young adult books! The characters are not without fault so they're relatable yet they have character traits that are worthy of imitating...making them an excellent source of inspiration while yet entertaining to read about.

It had been a couple months since I'd read the previous book in this series so it took me a couple chapters to familiarize myself with what had just happened and who everyone was. In books that leave off without finishing the story I wish there was something like a prologue with the last chapter of the previous book included. But as this is not the case, I would recommend that you brush up on the latest events in the series and then read this book...it will help you get the most out of the story.

What I love so much about this series is that it's a Christian sci-fi book. I can only imagine the difficulties there must be in creating a fantasy world with a Christian/spiritual aspect to it. The author definitely overcame any issues with flying colors.

Another thing I really like is that the book is written from more than one viewpoint. When you read a story from different perspectives it makes you become more emotionally invested in each of the characters. I became so involved in the book I could hardly set it aside once I'd started. As I read, the whole time I was thinking, this would make a totally amazing movie! After reading, I'm sure you'll wholeheartedly agree.

My Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
