My Review:
The Princess Spy is the story of Margaretha, the daughter of Wilhem and Rose (their story is coming next), and sister of Valtan and Gabe. It also is about Colin, the grandson of Ranulf and Annabel (from The Merchant's Daughter).
I didn't care for The Princess Spy as much as I did the others in the series. I still like it but the characters seemed to lack depth. Margaretha's vulnerability was that she felt most people didn't like her because she talked a lot. That seemed a little cheesy and so I didn't connect with her from the start. Colin, the hero of the story, was okay but he could have used some more manliness.
Other than that, I enjoyed the book. I liked how the plot tied together all the characters from the other books. Colin and Margaretha were perfect for each other and I liked how they worked together against the evil Claybrook.
